I found out last night that there was at least one Jew at the AR Conference. He goes by the name “Jew Among You” on Amren. I think he was the one who videotaped the conference. He struck me as an amiable fellow.

There’s an interesting new David Brooks Op-Ed that could use a Hunter Wallace comment. Brooks celebrates the decline of America’s old Protestant elite, because things are now more “fair” and diverse.
Here’s a great line from the piece on the benefits of our new, more diverse leadership-class:
Third, leadership-class solidarity is weaker. The Protestant Establishment was inbred.

Interesting, Sailer has post about Brooks’ piece at the VDare blog but not one at his own blog. Too hot for Sailer’s commenters to handle? It’s a shame, because I was so looking forward to seeing how Scotch-Irish commenter Testing99 would relate this post to the Scotch-Irish elite and beta males.

I noticed this too. It’s something he’s never done. But recently he was linked to by the mainstream liberal Jew blogger Matt Yglesias, and he was attacked randomly in a comment thread at the mainstream econ blog Marginal Revolution as an anti-Semite. So it looks like he thinks that he’s getting some mainstream notice and views, so he doesn’t want to step on too many toes. Which is a shame because Sailer’s blog was always about discussing anything no matter how politically incorrect, and because it was an excellent piece that would have stimulated some interesting discussion.
Sailer often posts articles at VDare first, then makes a blog post about the article and the reaction to it.
I thought he did that with articles but not blog posts.

Yes Hunter, I think he is a decent fellow as well.
I often see him posting at Hoste’s blog HBD Books, and comes across as intelligent and thoughtful on White/European racial and cultural issues.
Sailer often posts articles at VDare first, then makes a blog post about the article and the reaction to it.

Sailer is one of my absolute favorite writers, but he really let me down when he had not a single thing to say regarding the shutdown of the American Renaissance conference, and the gangster methods used to achieve these ends.
Where is the solidarity, after all, of those on the “Race Realist Right”?

Sailer is not a White nationalist. He avoids the word White and has never let a comment of mine through in which I distinguish Whites and jews. He is a heretic on race, a gadfly of the multicult, yes, but if we can believe what he argued in the debate with Taylor his loyalty is to whatever mix of citizens is imposed on him, not Whites.
One of Sailer’s insights on Obama might be helpful here. Obama, he says, leads people into thinking he is on their side, when all he is really saying is, “I have understood you.”
From this comment at race/history/evolution notes, it looks like Sailer put up the post at his own blog but then took it down. Very peculiar.

I saw no such unspoken implication. Brooks’ other recent editorial gushing about israel is conspicuous in retrospect because he didn’t even mention its inbred ashkenazi leadership.
Sailer, ever the optimist that jews can be shamed or ridiculed into not indulging “in personal and ethnic profit and power maximization”, seems to be saying: “Suicide, genocide, who cares? I, for one, welcome our new overlords.”
Sailer is often a strange bird!

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC that Sailer didn’t even mention the harassment of Jared Taylor and cancellation of the American Renaissance conference over the weekend.
Instead, he focused on more ‘important’ subjects like what kind of outfits the men’s figure skaters are wearing at the Olympics instead!
